After a busy end of the school year (so many graduations!), the Taste Buds assembled yet again, this time in search of the best biscuit available in Austin. (Yes, I know I said we were doing oat milk lattes next, but I changed my mind.)
Now, that search has some parameters. There are some places that have, I hear, terrific biscuits, but they are only available as a biscuit sandwich (so, this excludes Briscuits and Brooklyn Breakfast Shop; if it is possible to order a standalone biscuit, that was not evident on their menu or their website). If it looked like it was going to be a huge hassle to order some biscuits, they were disqualified, because there is a very small window in which biscuits are pleasant to eat (not naming any names here) If we already knew we didn’t like the biscuits, the biscuits were disqualified (no sense in wasting money; names withheld to protect the guilty).
